| Subaru R1 wins Top Gear Choice Award 2008 |

Indonesia's 'Best City Car' |

The Subaru R1 is more than just a car, in fact it has been named 'The Best City Car'
in the Top Gear Indonesia Choice Award 2008. Judged for comfort, fuel consumption,
features, lifestyle fit and after-sales care, Subaru R1 stood out for its impressive
performance.

|
With its 660cc engine, this super small car has proved itself to be economical,
practical and energetic enough for city driving, yet is the only city car that
has eco-friendly technology.
|
|
|
Qualifying as an Ultra Low Emission Vehicle, the R1 is one of the most fuel
efficient, eco-friendly cars available with Subaru taking environmental concerns
into consideration during its manufacture.

|
Tested on two rainy days in Jakarta by Top Gear's Managing Editor and Group
CEO/Publisher, the R1 proved to be responsive, safe, and accurate in spite of
the rain and traffic.

|
